Le projet "Travail pour la Paix en Afrique" de "Caaglop - Centre pour les affaires africaines et la paix mondiale" et "Tango - Agence international de formation pour les ONG" rendra hommage à des personnes et des ONG en Afrique, en particulier sur le niveau de la base, dont les engagements pour la paix sont un accomplissement essentiel pour la paix, disamement et la gestion non-violente des conflits en Afrique.

Caaglop et Tango invitons les personnes et la communauté internationale des ONG à nominer des exemples et études de cas pour "Travail pour la Paix en Afrique", en particulier du niveau de la base, afin qu'ils deviennent plus connu du grand public international et de sponseurs pour les ONG. Les candidatures peuvent être envoyées pour le travail des personnes individuelles ainsi que pour le travail des organisations non gouvernementales.

Une attention particulière de la projet "Travail pour la Paix en Afrique" sont "Les travailleurs pour la paix inconnue" et les petites ONG africaines qui - en dépit de leur contribution souvent très précieuse à la paix - sont jusqu'ici trop peu connu dans l'opinion publique internationale. Le project "Travail pour la paix en Afrique" veut promouvoir en particulier ceux "Low Key" contributions pour la paix dans l'opinion publique internationale. 

Nominations le project devrait aver une contribution à un ou plusieurs des domaines prioritaires suivants en Afrique:

• Substantielle réduction des armements, armées ou d'exportation d'armes dans les différents pays
  
• Les contributions significatives à la paix par le biais des approches non-violentes de gestion des conflits
  
• Surmonter intra-société ou internationale violence et des contributions à la réconciliation dans les zones d'après-guerre
  
• Élaboration et mise en œuvre dematériel éducatif et de formation (manuels, etc programmes de cours) qui contribuent considérablement à la gestion non violente des conflits
  
• Rapports publics sur les succès des réalisations internationales ou internes de la société pour la gestion non violente des conflits dans les journaux, en ligne ou dans les manuels

Chaque candidature pour la "Travail pour la paix en Afrique» doit contenir:

• Un résumé des travaux ou du projet de la personne ou des ONG qui est en nomination (pas plus de deux pages e-mail)
  
• Une adresse email de la personne / ONG dont le travail est nommé
  
• Un lien de website de l'organisation (si existant)
  
• Les noms, les emplois et les adresses email de deux personnes qui peuvent être contactés pour une enquête plus approfondie possible sur la nomination

Les candidatures peuvent être envoyées par des personnes ou organisations au sujet de leur propre travail ou en crédit pour d'autres organisations ou personnes.

Les nominations les plus convaincantes présentées sera publié en détail ici sur ce site web au début de 2011, informant ainsi l'opinion publique internationale et le parrainage de la communauté international sur ces activités et d'aider les personnes engagées et les ONG dans leur collecte de fonds.

Honoring Achievements of "Unknown Peace Workers and NGOs" in Africa

The project "African Grassroot Peace Work Alerts" of "Caaglop - Center for African Affairs and Global Peace" and "Tango - International Training Agency for NGOs" will honor persons and NGOs in Africa, particularly on the grassroot level, whose commitments for peace are an essential achievement for peace, disamement and non-violent conflict management in Africa. 

Caaglop and Tango hereby invite persons and the international NGO community to nominate examples and case studies for "African Grassroot Peace Work Alerts", especially from the grassroot level, so that they will become more known to the international public and to fundgivers for NGOs.  

Nominations can be emailed for the work of individual persons as well as for the work of Non-Governmental-Organizations. A special focus of "Africa Grassroot Peace Work Alerts" are the achievements of African "Unknown Peace Workers" and small African NGOs which - in spite of their often highly valuable contribution to peace - are so far too little known in the international public. "Africa Grassroot Peace Work Alerts" wants to promote especially those "low key" peace work contributions in the international public.

The peace work achievments of the nominated persons or organzations should be a contribution to one or more of the following focus areas in Africa:

• Substantial reducing of armaments,
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  armies or arms export in individual countries  
  
• Significant contributions to peace via non-violent conflict management approaches
  
• Overcoming intra-society or international violence and contributions to reconciliation in post-war areas
  
• Developing and implementation of
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  educational and training material (text books, courses curricula etc) which significantly contribute to non-violent conflict management
  
  
  
  
• Public reporting about successful international or inner-society achievements for non-violent conflict management in newspapers, online or in text-books

Each nomination for the "African Grassroot Peace Work Alert" has to contain:

• A summary of the work / project of the person or NGO which is nominated for the Alert (not more than two email pages)
• An email address of the person/NGO whose work is nominated
• A web site link of the organization (if existing)
  
• The names, jobs and email addresses of two persons which can be contacted for possible further investigation about the nomination
  
  

Nominations can be emailed by persons or organizations about their own work or in credit for other organizations or persons.

All nominations must be emailed not later than 31 December 2010 in English or French language with two identical emails to the following two persons:

The most convincing submitted nominations will be published in length here on this web site early 2011, thereby informing the international public and sponsoring community about these activities and assisting the committed persons and NGOs in their fundraising.
